YARD SALE at CHURCH OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD

Good Shepherd will be holding a yard sale held at the Church on Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  

All proceeds will be donated to the Lutheran Disaster Response to benefit those affected by 
the Midwest Floods that some of our Church members recently visited to provide some much needed help.

We welcome your donations (as described below) which can be dropped off at Good Shepherd 
each Saturday before the sale (Sept 13th thru Oct 4th) between the hours of 10:00 til  Noon.  

Please check through all your “house treasures” for items that can be donated for the sale.  
Appropriate items we will accept are:  clothing (adult and children), household items 
(furniture, paperback books, DVDs/CDs, collectibles, jewelry, and decorative pillows), tools, toys and small appliances,

Requirements are:  all clothing must be clean and in wearable condition, 
no personal bedding (pillows, mattresses), and the small appliances must be clean and in working condition.

A Tax Receipt will be given to you to list your items and record the “fair market value” of your donations. 

If you have no treasures to donate, not a problem,  
PLEASE VISIT US THE DAY OF THE SALE FOR SOME REAL SHOPPING FUN. RAIN or SHINE 

Refreshments and Baked Goods will also be available for sale.
